PrintWhatYouLike

Print What You Like is a website that allows you to print the parts of any web page while skipping ads and other junk.  With this utility, you can remove ads, images of a webpage, or advertisement from any webpage.  Save money and environment by reducing paper and ink usage.  Just simply enter the URL of the webpage that you want to print and then edit the page, leave just the things you’d like to print or make it in different order.  Then just print it.  You are done.  It’s so convince and you don’t need another software.
It's very annoy  when I find some really good website to print while the advertisement and some useless gif was flashing on the side of website.  Or some time the webpage was a little bit bigger than a A4 sheet.  And when printing the webpage like this always comes out like couple full pages and one page with a little bit content.  That’s just wasting the paper and ink.  Changing the format and make a preview of the webpage by Print What You Like can fix all these problem.

You Tube

YouTube is a video-sharing website, created by three former PayPal employees in February 2005 and owned by Google since late 2006, on which users can upload, view and share videos. The company is based in San Bruno, California, and uses Adobe Flash Video and HTML5 technology to display a wide variety of user-generated video content, including movie clips, TV clips, and music videos, as well as amateur content such as video blogging, short original videos, and educational videos.
Most of the content on YouTube has been uploaded by individuals, although media corporations including CBS, the BBC, Vevo, Hulu, and other organizations offer some of their material via the site, as part of the YouTube partnership program. Unregistered users can watch videos, while registered users can upload an unlimited number of videos. Videos considered to contain potentially offensive content are available only to registered users at least 18 years old. YouTube, LLC was bought by Google for US$1.65 billion in November 2006 and now operates as a Google subsidiary.

Facebook, know more friends

Facebook is an online social networking service, which was founded in February 2004 by Mark Zuckerberg with his college roommates and fellow Harvard University students Eduardo Saverin, Andrew McCollum, Dustin Moskovitz and Chris Hughes. It was begun  the colloquial name for the book given to students at the start of the academic year by some university administrations in the United States to help students get to know each other.
Users must register before using the site, after which they may create a personal profile, add other users as friends, exchange messages, and receive automatic notifications when they update their profile. Additionally, users may join common-interest user groups, organized by workplace, school or college, or other characteristics, and categorize their friends into lists such as "People From Work" or "Close Friends". As of March 2013, Facebook reported having 1.11 billion monthly active users, globally.
To allay concerns about privacy, Facebook enables users to choose their own privacy settings and choose who can see specific parts of their profile. The website is free to users, and generates revenue from advertising, such as banner ads. Facebook requires a user's name and profile picture (if applicable) to be accessible by everyone. Users can control who sees other information they have shared, as well as who can find them in searches, through their privacy settings.

Whereis

Whereis is a strong map searching and directory system in Australia.  It's more powerful and more detail than Google map.  It can do all the things that Google map can do, like searching for hotel, train station parks etc.  Additionally, things smaller like speed camera, local parking space, or even motor mechanics, hairdresser they all can be searched by Whereis and this is not coming out when using Google map.

Moreover it can show all the live traffic camera in the city and clicking these camera will direct link to Live Traffic NSW website so that people can see the exactly picture taken by camera within 10 min instead of green lines, yellow lines, red lines etc…

Instagram blog

Instagram is a smart phone app (or you can view it on your computer), provides you
a place to share photos and videos to everyone around the world or only for your friends.
It is easy to use:  take a photo or video then choose a filter you like, anybody could become a professional camera man. Also, you can share the photos to other social network sites such as facebook and twitter. Enter keywords with a hash tag (#), you can even be found by someone who has the same interest with you!

This time I am going to introduce the instagram blog.

The special thing about the instagram blog is that it introduces photos posted by their users  around the world and update very often. With a brief introduction and a photo set, you can know  about the events held in the other side of the Earth or see the scene in a different place,  different season, from different people.

Flickr

This web wants to help everyone, so that people can see the importance of their photos.

Maybe some people would like to use blogs recorded phone photographed every moment, maybe someone shot Awesome rely on their photos, videos, ubiquitous on the Internet. Some people may just want to confidentially and dispersed families to share family private photos. Flickr make these dreams come true, and doing more and better.

To accomplish this mission, we try to use a variety of ways, so that our systems become the photos and videos throughput station: sources, including websites, mobile devices, users home computer, or a variety of their preferred content management software. We also try to make these photos reveal a variety of ways: Includes display in the Flickr page, compiled into a RSS feed, share via email, post to your blog, and much more we do not think of the way. How we can use this kind of clever storage space?

Once you have switched to digital, you could easily be taken as itchy intolerable and overwhelmed by large number of photos or videos. Album, as today, the main party of people to organize photos

As long as you start with a digital camera to take pictures, will soon be making a stop itchy, fate is to be massive surge Photos Videos submerged. Although the use to manage photo albums seem like a good idea, but as long as the number of albums to 20, 30, or even 50, the end is the same. Also need to rinse the film in an era album also play a practical role, but now the album is outdated, and should retire and return home.

Photos and videos so that everyone involved in the interaction is very good. In Flickr, you can let friends, family, and one of us has some interactive privileges - including messages, plus marking and labeling. Think about it, in the real world, when we watch your photos and videos, will say witticisms, or give praise; course, on the Internet the case. In addition, these information, photos and videos will not only become the additional information (metadata), but also searchable, so in the future when looking for a photo or video will become more easy.

Duirwaigh Studios

When I opened this website, I was interested by the rich artwork and colors. I immediately wondered: what kind of business does this CSS website represent? Unfortunately, it took me quite a lot of looking to answer this question. There is a lot of flowery language and pretty pictures, but few actual explanations. The front page is in a blog format. I saw artwork referred to and a few references to an online workshop, but nothing about the exact industry. The fonts were beautiful, the art bright, but no indication of purpose. Even after reading the About page it was a little sketchy. The website is run by a husband and wife team who are involved in a variety of pursuits, most of them artistic. Duirwaigh Studios is their online ‘home’.

Creativity:

5 stars. I wish we could give them ten out of five stars for creativity, because the website obviously was developed with a great deal of care and attention to detail. The artwork is fanciful and engrossing, and the other elements are created to work well with the visual aspects.

Ease of use:

3 stars. Perhaps it is the ornate language or the many different elements on the page, but we found the Duirwaugh Studios website to be a little difficult to navigate. It seemed cluttered and crowded in places, and I had trouble finding the things I sought. On whole it is a great website, but the organization is not intuitive. It takes a great deal of thought to navigate, which some visitors might not be willing to do.

Functionality:

4 stars. I could not find social media links, although it was certainly easy to find the blog present on the landing page of the website. There were polls and other interactive elements, but no Facebook, Twitter, or other means of interacting with the brand outside of the website itself.

Content:

4 stars. The content is well written but a little too ornate. It is difficult sometimes to discern the intent. However, most of it is easy to understand and written with attention to every verb.

Appropriateness:

3 stars. This website is meant to present the two artists as professionals, but it is just a little too flowery to be business appropriate. Even if your artwork tends toward the Baroque side, a professional business brand is an important part of running any small business or freelancing venture.

The World's First Website Gets Its Original Web Address Back

The folks at CERN, the organization responsible for devising the fundamental web standards, are celebrating World Wide Web's 20th birthday by bringing back the first ever website to its original URL.

Although the first website was launched in 1991, it was on April 30, 1993 when CERN made the WWW technology available on a royalty-free basis.

The website, obviously very scarce by today's standards, contains only text explaining some of the basics of the World Wide Web. It was originally available at this address —http://info.cern.ch/hypertext/WWW/TheProject.html — but for many years that URL has been redirecting to http://info.cern.ch.

Now, CERN has dug up a 1992 copy of the site — the earliest it could find — and put it back online at its original address.

CERN employees will keep trying to find an earlier copy; in the meantime, you can browse through it and see what the World Wide Web (all of it) was like in 1992
